It was so amazing, and just so special. The entire week had been cold and cloudy, with little to no sunshine whatsoever. Yet, on this glorious Thanksgiving morning, the Lord had other plans. The sun shone through the trees with a striking brilliance, filling the air with a peace and warmth that made it feel as though a drop of heaven had fallen to the earth. Today, Melissa and I were blessed to take a walk together.

The Flynns arrive.

I struggle to find the words.

My heart skips a beat. She says yes.

An embrace I will never, ever forget.
