The Return To Rehoboth
September 30, 2007

Page 1 / 2

There's a long story behind this picture. The night before we spent cutting chili peppers, and I made the tragic mistake of washing my face with water afterwards. What did it do? It spread all the little burning micro fiber death molecules all over my face. I literally could not open my eyes for some 25 minutes, and my face felt like it was seriously on fire. What a rush! Anyway, the next day ALL of our fingers were still tingling from the peppers, and thus explains the picture. Cute.

My distinguished president fell and scraped his arm! Ouch!!! He asked for a leave of absence, but I didn't grant it. The JN Fan Club would fall into utter disarray without him.

Uhh ... where are you, and what are you doing? Why, dear friend, I'm at Blithewold, and I'm being adorable!

Da boys. So, what is Blithewold? Another long story, but let's just say it's a beautiful oceanfront property with a large mansion and incredible lawns and flowers and gardens. Elegance beyond description.

Matthew and Micaiah compose mental poetry to their lady loves.

Oh my word ... this was so fun! Somebody give me a microphone!

Look at the air! Look at the hang time! (look at the headless Marscel, and Matthew's cute tummy!)

There's something very artistic about this shot.

Me and my momma.

Peter Pan flight school. Think happy thoughts!

Micaiah's not thinking happy thoughts!!!

Hubba hubba.

It's never a good idea to get two ENTPs together in the same patch of bushes.

Locksley explores his feminine side.

Amidst the bamboo. Isn't that cool?

Ok, Marscel. Look epic.

Minutes later, we find ourselves atop an incredible historic lookout tower (that is, the place where a tower used to spot ships once stood).

The emotion ... the drama ... a movie of this day must be made.

Ladies and gentlemen ... a movie has been made.

A beautiful sunset to bring to an end a beautiful day.

And what better way to end a beautiful day then to eat a scrumptious dinner at Whole Foods. What a delightful treat.

The day before my departure, the Thomas' take me out for some evening tennis. Course, in normal tennis, only one bounce is allowed, but in this family, the point hasn't been won as long as the ball is still bouncing (or even rolling).

There, in my arms, is a young lady (Susannah) who only days before was afraid to even look at me. What a little treasure.

Time to go. :-( I give my trying-to-act-happy sad smile. Farewell, Thomas family!

Well, I discovered that I still had a couple minutes left of battery power, so kept my tradition of photographing an interesting or otherwise rather odd person at the airport. This guy was pretty cool. You know what I learned? Whenever I try to sneak a picture of someone, they always notice, and it's really awkward. However, if you just stick the camera up and aim it directly at them, they don't suspect you're really doing anything, cause no one in their right mind would just blatantly take a picture of someone they don't know. Anyway, that's exactly what I did. Course, he's looking right at me. lol, it was so worth it.

Ok, so I set my camera up to take a funny picture of myself in Chicago, when this guy stops right in front of the men's bathroom and just looks at me for 2 seconds to see what I'm doing. So, I had to switch from my totally hilarious face that would have had everyone rolling from laughter to a really lame blank stare.

Thank you, Thomas family, for such an incredible trip! As always, thanks for stopping by everyone. Have a great week.
