After Hammond Castle it was off to the beach with our Purely Decadent ice-cream (made from coconut)! Oh my word, if you haven't tried it, you haven't lived.
We allow the half-starved lice-infested peasant boy to join us.
Can't fight on the drawbridge, we'll fight on the beach! (probably illegal too)
Hard to keep away when she looks so stinking pretty!
Enough of the slop! Let's do something manly! To the sea, my brothers!
Yes! Handstands! Quite manly!
I had an excellent time with you guys.
The year of our Lord 1742. Our ship, the Indefatigable, meets her horrific fate among a Spanish armada somewhere in the Caribbean. Only I and my 3 brothers survive, finding ourselves stranded upon a tropical island with nothing but our cool black pants. The island is covered with melons, pineapples, coconuts, and the occasional frog. To whomever reads this, we'll be just fine.

"They that go down in the sea in ships."
A schooner festival was being held that weekend, making the settings all the more historical feeling. Meliss and I perfectly place ourselves around one of the distant ships.

How cool is that!
Been married for 1 year, 2 months, 12 days ... still can't get enough hugs.
It's time for a Portuguese pool party with the relatives! Grandma Connie was all over William.
Yes, it was your typical pool party, with hip hop music playing on the speakers outside and your typical little dog walking around ignoring everybody.
Back flip in action.
Matthew and I summon our ninja eagle powers.
Our superman poses. I have a picture of me doing this back when I was like 10-years old.
Found it! Hah! And I was actually only 6-years old. Tan little Cally man!
Hang time, baby!
Truly, I never felt so Portuguese in all my life.
Later that day it was off to Newport for a little more family time and fish and chips! A toast, my brothers, to our insane coolness.
Ever had Zevia? A soft drink sweetened only with stevia (an herb). If you haven't tried it, you haven't lived.
Another walk on the beach with the family and my Spanish sweetheart.
Gorgeous.
Just a random picture of Matthew with a pepper in his fro. You know you need a haircut when your heads makes the shape of a perfect circle.
On Sunday after church everyone headed over to Bristol, Rhode Island, for some fun and fellowship at the park.

Today's gonna be a blast ... I think.
Time for some ultimate frisbee. The girls are looking pretty menacing.
"Guys, I think we should just forfeit."
So I go out there thinking it's just going to be a friendly game of frisbee, till I realize that Ryan, recently returned from ALERT, means all-out war with a little pile driver to the face!!!
Oh ho! The frisbee is still caught!
Happy! We're all so happy! Are you happy? I'm happy!
A little Locksley holding collage.
Meet Mason Pimental, a mild-mannered Brad Steele fan. Maybe mild-mannered isn't the right word. I think maybe he's the biggest Brad Steele fan ever. Whatever the case, there was only one thing to do ...
... toss him into the Atlantic.
The orchestra was fantastic ... lol, even had a short tribute to Michael Jackson. Pretty funny to hear a symphony playing Beat It.
Time for bed, Robin.
The next day we had a fun, relaxing day with the Flynns at the Thomas homestead. So glad Anna was finally able to meet and hold our little man.
A little jamin' on Pa's car.
Now you see why we call him our "little man." He looks too grown up already.
Had a second of smiling while Aidan was holding him and we caught it! :-)
There ain't no one we ain't showin' Willy to! How bout Tommy down at the fruit and vegetable warehouse!
Next it was off to Grandma Connie's, who unfortunately couldn't join us (wasn't feeling well). Needless to say, we had a blast going through all the stuff she's collected over the years.
The Azevedo family! I just love Portuguese! Lookin' tight, Uncle Johnny! :-)
Tis the day of our departure, and what better way to spend it then by chugging down some Chinese food with the fam! The boys are getting down to business.
If that isn't the very definition of revolting I don't know what is.
Ok, maybe that is.
One last walk upon the beach. Such a cute picture.
You get two guesses to find the German.
Pretty good picture, Mel. Thanks for being the best auntie ever!

A quick stop at a local antique store. The maniacal tyrant is at it again.
And one last van ride to the airport. Love you guys so much!! Thanks for an absolutely WONDERFUL and UNFORGETTABLE trip!!!
Thanks for sharing the trip with us. The Lord bless you all!
