For The First Time Ever ...
April 7, 2010

"It's amazing. I've never seen anything like it. They brought tears to my eyes. I was cutting onions."
- Anonymous Fan

Now, for the first time ever ... the way they were meant to be seen ... the way they were meant to be heard ... the way they were meant to be lived . No more endless You Tube searching, no more waiting for cheesy, low-quality videos to download. The wait is over. The time is now.

One place, one format, one out-of-this-world internet experience.

It's Brad Steele, Kyle Shields, and Sean Spears in clarity and sound never before imagined. "Seeing myself like that, I knew I looked good, but never that good," says Kyle Shields. "I think this will cause our fans to love us even more ... if that's possible."

"I couldn't believe what I was seeing," noted Brad Steele in an exclusive interview with Barbara Walters. "I was flying home from Morocco when my bodyguard handed me his laptop and showed me a clip. I ordered drinks on the house for the entire plane."

March Madness
April 1, 2010

Whoa! Sorry about the large time gap! March has certainly been busy and fun-filled! Good times spent with friends and family, and we are grateful. Weather-wise it's been just as the old saying goes for the Ozarks ... "March comes as a lion and leaves as a lamb." This final week it's sunny and 70s. The grass is greening, the peepers are peeping, and the daffodils are ... daffodiling.

Haven't really given any written updates about William for awhile, so here goes ... William is simply a character, that's all there is to it. At one moment he can have the biggest smile a baby could ever give and the next have the most intense glare ever. I warned Melissa before he was born to expect a strong-willed boy if we were to name him William Locksley, and sure enough he's just that. Don't get me wrong, he's as sweet as a ... umm ... sweet relish ... but strong as an ox, physically and mentally. He knows "No touch", "No fuss", "Heady down", and "No bite". He'll go to anyone (an ENTP), and is extremely social and likes to entertain with his funny noises and quirky facial expressions. He stands for 10-20 seconds at a time, and just the other day took his first couple steps! He has one particular Achille's heal ... he hates going to bed. Not all the time, but probably half. He tells me it's because sleep is so boring. I told him to get over it. He said he didn't know what that meant. I told him to drop it. Next thing I knew he was on the floor.

Anyway, on with the pics. Thanks so much for stopping by!

The Pearlstines recently hosted us for what was a wonderful evening of food and fellowship and a photography class from Clayton (click here for his website). It appears William has stolen Athanasius's cool pink teapot. That's my boy.

Thanks again, you guys!

Getting my little man ready for church. I look a little creepy there. What's with the double chin.

Two youngsters wait outside Jo-Ann's for their respective girlfriend to finish shopping.

Look at his face. He already does the Brad Steele glare better than I do.

Just let them be little, cause they're only that way for awhile. Let them laugh, let them giggle, let them sleep in the middle. Yes, just let them be little.

We pass by Seymour on the way to and from church, which is chock-a-block full of Amish. So, I gave the camera to Meliss and said, "Snap me a good picture, or else." So, she's on the phone, and at the last second I see a carriage across the highway and scream, "AMISH!!!!" She drops the phone like lightning, grabs the camera like she's Wonder Woman, and snaps this shot from like 150 yards away. You go girl!

Cajun Chicken Pasta. Truly, there must be a special occasion deserving of this fine meal.

My birthday! Yay! Happy birthday to me! Can't believe I'm already 23 years old. Seems like yesterday I was only 22. Seems like two days ago when I was 21. When I was 20 seems more like a week and 2 days ago. Anyway ... um ... actually, I'm 28. Talk about retirement plan! Talk about breaking into my social security! Anyway, I'm talking to Nathan on the phone here.

Now that is the smile of a champion.

Put that tongue back in your mouth, young man.

Matthew ... I love you man.

Micaiah ... stay away from me.

I have a few more specially made dollar bills to share from the secret contest Meliss held for my birthday, but will post them later. Anyway, we had the Longs over for dinner! What a blessed night it was together.

Singing His praises with Landon and Bryson on the guitars.

The sign of a healthy marriage. :-)

Where are we now? My kind father used his credit card points to get Melissa and I a hotel room in Branson for my birthday! Check out our view from the window overlooking Branson Landing! Slightly cool!

My Queen and little Prince.

Twas a suite with a separate living room. Thanks, dad!

Nice bedroom with a flat screen TV. That night we saw "The Young Victoria." Recommend it!

Out on the landing for a little samurai sword shopping.

Walking to dinner.

After dinner fountain-gazing.

lol. There's the glare I was talking about!

Enjoying the beautiful weather with Tasman. William already is learning a love for animals (which his daddy will make sure to instill).

Hey puddy tat.

After work I'm so anxious to get outside and do something!!! Here I'm digging into the hill to make a driveway so we can more easily back our car out on top of the hill.

"Brad's wearing em. Why aren't you?"

Can anybody guess? That, my friends, is Mr. Collins, asking for the hand of Elisabeth Bennett in a Pride and Prejudice play we drove up to Rolla to see (some of our friends were in it).

Elisabeth with her father, Mr. Bennett. Each person really fit their parts extremely well. Thank you for the invitation, Nizbit family (sorry not totally sure about the spelling :-).

Afterwards we had a tasty meal with the Willis and Discher family at Panera.

Peter Discher, Walter Willis, and Nate Willis. Not sure who the weirdo is on the right.

Walter heroically carries his sister Angie across the raging river. The Willis family stayed with us for two nights! So enjoyed having you.

KC leads the motley crew.

Locksley loves the new stroller. Anything beats being plastered on somebody's back.

My elegant ENFJ wife serves another elegant ENFJ meal with elegant ENFJ decoration.

Time for some singing. The Willis kids can really jam.

KC on the violin.

Angie on the violin.

The peanut gallery.

Never forget, William, you're daddy was once a young man who loved holding you.

... and your Aunt Pink and Yellow Thing was once ... well ... the picture says it all.

So great having you all! Come again ANY time!

My elegant ENFJ wife trims her rosebushes. Oh Lord, thank you for Spring!

And thanks again for stopping by! May the Lord richly bless your week!
