a-HAH! Finally the first poster! Ok, listen Jordan, I know you're in la-la land right now, but not everyone is interested in your superstitious romantic visions ok? The owners kids are named Melissa and Danielle! It happens!! lol ;-) Just to let you all know, I'm only giving Jordan a hard time because I'll be in his position one day, and no doubt he'll be repaying the kind treatment :-D Oh my word, "Kyle Wear"? lol! I didn't even see that until I expanded the picture. Man I remember seeing every one of those pictures of you by your little tree. The first one was during preparations for "The Book of Being". Great memories, I look forward to seeing new ones next year with your wonderful new, expanded family! Blessings to you buddy! Oh grief I forgot about the question. I did not look this up at all, if my memory serves me I believe the tradition of the Christmas tree originated in Germany, and was started by Martin Luther. But maybe he wasn't the first?

Hey you! Sorry for the late post! CONGRATULATIONS! You two go together like biscuits and gravy, like eggs and bacon, like I'm really hungry now and I'm outta here. Congrats!

Man, trying to get motivated to study for my one last final tomorrow.. the problem is is that I am burned out and I would rather be doing anything else than study for the final... but then I remembered your blog. I figured if there is anything worse than studying for a final exam, it is having to put myself through the sheer torture of visiting your blog. And man, it didn't disappoint. I come here to find that you're totally whipped, you look like your steadily declining every year, and to top it off, I picked up that you overcame falling off the roof if you lived to write this blog... but, at least you've managed to give me a second wind for my final :)

Hey what up Jordan. I saw your 29 legitimate pulls ups on youtube. I just wanted to say that was some good stuff. Alot of cats claim they can do pull-ups, but their techniques are horrible. You handled yours.

Here are some answers....According to Church records, Saint Boniface (who, also according to Church records, had felled the Thor's Oak) attempted to Christianise the indigenous Germanic tribes by introducing the notion of trinity by using the cone-shaped evergreen trees because of their triangular appearance. As far as I know, the tree can't be traced to an exact origin...enough though. The poinsettia first came from Taxco del Alarcon? in Southern Mexico in Central America. The Poinsettia is also named after Joel Roberts Poinsett (1779 - 1851) The shotgun shells were very cool...well, not much else to comment about, I just got home from playing basketball with the Voellers...have fun...Mozzletof!

I do believe that the Christmas tree tradition began when Martin Luther saw the stars through some fir trees while he was walking in the woods; cut down a fir tree, and brought it home to his family to tie candles on it and so give them the spectacular sight that he'd seen. Your poor dog :( I'm glad you had the insight to take her to the vet when her mouth was opening wierd *laugh*

So, I was googling ENTPs, and I came upon your site: http://www.niednagel.com/blog2007/terrahaute07.htm which was full of pictures of ENTPs! I am crazy about them! Is there an ENTP conference in Missouri that I don't know about? I can't seem to meet any. Are you an ENTP, or do you have any spare ones sitting about? ;-) -Amy (INFJ) anmoyelle@gmail.com

"Don't I look more grown up? I think engagement does that to a man." Or maybe it's because you ARE! That picture was taken a year later! Ugh it's people like you that make me want to go back to thinking girls are "icky".

Hah! How did you know you were the first poster anyway, Nate? Were you like hitting refresh every 17 seconds, and then just assumed you hit the "comment" tab fastest then anybody else, and then assumed you were able to write a comment faster than anybody else? Man, you're good. :-) Ok, yeah, you guessed it. The Christmas tree originated in Germany, my home country. See, we Germans were good for something. Gerry, lol, thanks for the congrats. Like your analogies. :-) Josef ... Josef ... thanks so much, man. I love you, man. Hey, B. Thomas, don't know who you are, but thanks. People on YouTube can be pretty nit-picky. :-) Ok Jon, you win the prize for the most thorough answer. And yes, Mexico is right as well. Course, you just probably Googled and pasted your answer, but hey, whatever works! Heh, the Voellers said they had a good time playing with you guys. I guess everyone played, huh? Even your dad? Katie, a most superb answer. Is that just legend, though, or historical fact with regards to Luther? Amy! Um ... whoever you are! Thanks for saying hi! Umm ... you know what, if you just go to any conference, it's sure to be an ENTP conference, so there you go! Have at it! :-D Nathan ... once again, thank you for stating the obvious. Oh c'mon! My point was ... between 2005 and 2006, I don't look that much different ... but in 2007 I just look more ... more ... the man! You smellin' me, bro? Aight. Hey Joe. Yeah, I've thought of doing that, but I just don't like the idea of invading peoples' inboxes every time I post, especially when the entry happens to be a particularly boring one (not that any of mine are boring, of course). I know people sign up for it and all, though. I'll sleep on it. ;-)
